Teddy’sThe Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel has drawn the likes of massive stars like Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe and more recently Angelina Jolie. Its centerpiece, Teddy’s is arguably the bait for all the star power. With dim lighting that any celeb–young or old–would love, VIP booths, over-the-top chandeliers and a tough reservation policy, it’s no wonder this celebrity hangout continues to attract everyone from Scarlett Johansson to Gerard Butler. DJs spin top 40; and sometimes they includeSamantha Ronson.

This is another Rihanna hot spot (the girl is all over town!), and it’s oh so ‘Hollywood’ in the quotation marked sense. Cozy sitting areas festooned with crystal chandeliers await as do dancers, eats, DJs and that familiarly ‘iron-clad’ velvet rope outside. Spin-masters such as DJ Metric (who also spins at Drai’s) seem to be fixtures on the scene as well. And let’s not forget those tasty cucumber watermelon margies.

AV seems to host a lot of LA arts and entertainment (read: celebrity-centric) events. It’s something of a den of Hollywood life. Housed in an old 1920s space, the 3,200 square foot club can’t help but pull in the ‘usual suspects’ of LA celeb nightlife like Chris Brown. DJ talent includes: Sid Vicious, Shift and Vice. And AV boasts an exceptionally sexy celeb combo spotting: Johnny Depp andAmber Heard.

Get ready for 50,00 watts of dance floor power! That’s the lure of lure. And of course those clubbin’ stars that are always the focus of celebrity gossip, like the o.g. Paris Hilton and the ‘constant fixture’ Chris Brown. Waitresses suspended from glass orbs and a secret back garden make this a truly spectacualr hot spot. DJs include: Sandro Silva, David Puentez and DJ Kamoflage 03.

And now to complete this glitzy Hollywood list with a little something for the indie kids at the back: Eagle Rock’s The Airliner. If you’re not really the sunset striptype, and your idea of celebrity spotting is a secret set with Thom Yorke, this space, dedicated to hip-hop, alternative/punk, funk and then some is a honey trap for tattooed hipsters. We wouldn’t be surprised if the likes of Banksy frequented this indie celeb haunt (although no one would ever know if the anonymous British street artist had actually stopped by).
